True OCD is like washing your hands everytime you touch something.
IF IT WAS MADE IN LAYERS, IT SHALL BE EATEN IN LAYERS!
Tho yes, I only do that with pastries. And lasagna. Not hamburgers.
As someone who is currently dealing with OCD I would say get help immediatly or force yourself to break out of the compulsion, trust me, I've had my OCD for nearly 6 years and has gotten to the point where its basically crippled me, and trying to break out of it is really hard, even with the assistance of professional psychologists. I probably wouldn't be in such a bad position if I didn't ignore it for 4 out of those 6 years.
I think separating food is a symptom of OCD, but that isn’t a bad thing. I myself like to keep my food away from spaghetti (especially peas and smaller foods, mixed with pasta is just GROSS to me.)
OCD is different for everyone as well, so don’t be worried that it will become something more severe when in all likelyhood it’s just a preference and nothing to worry about. OCD is very manageable.
I dont like vegetables being mixed with meat.
