Battlefield 1942 not working
I Bought a cd copy of battlefield 1942 the other day, and at first i was getting a "please log in with administrator privleges and try again" errors, so i installed the latest patch.
But then, i started getting "bfcprt.dll is missing from your computer" errors. I tried reinstalling multiple times, and it still gives me the pfcprt.dll error.

I'm running windows 7 on a cheap laptop from 2008, by the way.
also, is off topic the right place to post this?

Didn't work, unfortunately. :/ I checked my recycle bin, did a virus scan, everything, but i can't find the bfcprt.dll file anywhere on my computer.

I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, so i doubt that will do anything, and i'm definitely not going to download random dll files.
But on the bright side, at least the game only cost me a dollar!

Nah, i guess i'll just have to skip this game for now. Thanks for the suggestions though. :)

Yeah, but oh well, there is a custom control points gamemode for csgo, and that actually plays like battlefield, and i can just play that for now, until i find a fix. :)
