Obscure anime that need more love

There are some anime that are either old or rare that no one seems to know about. Here are mine plus a brief description.

1. Descendants of Darkness: an OVA/manga that can best be described as the gayest non BL horror series that exists.

2. GaoGaiGar: A robot fighting show that actually addresses the question 'Why don't they attack the heroes while they are transforming?' Plus it has an awesome theme song.

3. Nadia of Blue Water: Fun for the whole family adventure about finding Atlantis. Don't mind the people dying of poison gas, or the guy who died showing his skull. Rated Y7!

Not sure about obscure, but certainly underrated:

Gankutsuou: A stylized retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt: Fallen angels fight ghosts with magic undergarments that turn into weapons.

Miyuki-chan in Wonderland: a fanservice based Alice in Wonderland

I got some obscure anime:

Twin Spica (Manga/Anime): About a girl that attends and makes friends at a school, and the best student at the school gets to go to space, which is all of the character's dreams.

Heroman (Anime): A boy's action figure comes to life and becomes the boy's guardian, while also fighting off multiple threats. Funny enough it was made by Stan Lee, and yes, he does cameo in it. However the anime got cancelled.

Key The Metal Idol: To be fair, I haven't watched it yet, but it looks pretty interesting. It's about a robot girl who's goal is to make a certain number of friends, in the thousands I think.

Blood+: A 50-episode anime, and as its name suggests, features a lot of blood and violence. Plot is about a chiropteran girl who is on a quest to kill all chiroptera (vampire-like creatures and monsters that are almost immortal and feed on humans). The underlying theme of the anime is about nature VS nurture, where the main character and her sister are twins but are vastly different in behavior.

Never heard of the first, seen the second on a shelf once in a used section, and I think I watched the third once.

I think that used to be on Toonami, or at least I remember the AMV trailer for it that had the song Plot for Little.

Juuni Kokuki (The Twelve Kingdoms)

Fantasy mythology based on novels. It has good character development. The wiki says it's a popular series but I didn't know about it before. I think I found it randomly.
