What is the meaning of "cringe" anymore, tho?

I see people using it for describing literally everything nowadays, the term is abused and overused in the same way of "literally", "cuck", "cancer" and "autistic".

"Wow, this ice cone is cringe!"
"Bah, this movie is cringe"
"I don't like this, cringe!"
"You are cringe!"

Meh it's pretty normal. It's not even new! Back in the days, people wrote letters for the same reasons.

As for my answer, well, this is quite meta, but, people who use the word "cringe" in place of punctuation, they're cringeworthy.
