Edit: while we are on the subject; The never ending story, lion king, and the goonies are extremely stupid movies as well
The NES was about teaching kids to read and use their imaginations, which is something we could use in these days of copying eachother on Youtube.
Lion King was a crappy Kimba with better animation and half the morals. Enough said.
The Goonies is popular because of how stupid it is, and nostalgia appeal I guess.
that movie is a conspiracy !!!
:P
The Labyrinth was visually stunning for its time and has David Bowie as the villain.
How could you say no to David Bowie?
coming soon the fidget spinner movie
David bowie look like an ugly old woman in that movie
He's supposed to be a "cool 80's fantasy character"
Except that looks like a transvestite because the 80's.
Either way, the puppeteering in that film is very good, as are the sets.
