Blood and gore is just that, blood and gore
I find it very entertaining
Tumblr is the real deal. Gives me nightmares.
Bloody gore is just garbage imo. There are ways to make it quite effective, but that honestly turns it INTO something other than 'body' horror.
Serbian Film was.... um. It was 2 hours I want back from my life and brain bleach. It was a very well made movie. It was horrific, but I wouldn't call it "horror", it was well beyond that for me. The only thing I actually like about it, however, is the music. Thinking about this movie makes me physically ill.
Human Centipede, on the other hand, (the first one, I'm not going to bother with the others) was what I'd say is well done physical horror that absolutely lapses into psychological. It was hella gross, sure, but it was also very deliberate, crafted.
But I 'll go with psycho horror. Bodyhorror is a shock thing that lasts for a few moments... but psycho horror might stay with you for quite a while.
I've seen to much gore in games it doesn't bother me anymore.
