Oh no
Cause I'm squeamish lmao
It's far better than body considering
most of the times your mind is basically doing
all the spooky ♥♥♥♥ for you, imagine this.
A. You see your friend getting impaled
with a spike, before being mutilated, and
eaten by cannibals.
or
B. The darkness, nothing but an empty
abyss of nothingness, empty, silent, and
nothing. It's terrifiying, it makes our brains
wonder what the ♥♥♥♥ is in that darkness, and
makes us want to avoid it since we don't know
what is in there, or what it is.
But this is just a silly opinion of mine.
I know, it's against the rules of this discussion, but say, the film Hellraiser was much more terrifying then Shudder Island and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (even though with TCM I still cherish it).
I would definitely count Hellraiser as a mix between slasher, body, and psych.
