How come there’s not any pirate rpgs?

I haven’t seen any pirate rpgs that seem any good, the only okay one I’ve found is Sid Meier Pirates, but it’s not as role playing as I want. So my question is why there aren’t pirate games that are RPG’s. And if you know of one, please let me know of it.

There's it's just not common and the them are quite hard to follow because it'll likely about treasure, island,and, ship battle

Yes I ment shooters.... I'd love to see a reverse Wolfenstein game but the controversy that would cause it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Heroes and Generals let’s you play as the Germans, but it has atrocious wait times for matches

All pirate games are fantasy, unless you are really just looking for a bunch of rummed up scurvy riddled men who smell like rot to control as they poop over the rails and get to some proper buggery below decks.

Well, they spent months at sea without seeing crap. Well, they did see crap. From the poop deck. I mean without seeing ships. Eventually, somebody is gonna get a visit from the Bum Bum Fairy.

You can play as a pirate class in One way heroics, and you can pick the pirate skill tree in dungeons of dredmor

Salt is a game where you sail wooden ships around and fight pirates. Not that I enjoyed it very much

How could I forget One piece pirate warriors 3. I got nearly 100 hours out of it and still didn't do everything.
