Personally, I would get Battlefield 1 for a much greater experience both online and offline for the historical accuracy. There are still "sjw" tendencies I wish DICE dropped such as an outrageous minority representation on the front lines having roles like the scout and medic often being subject to "diversification". But it doesn't go overboard like Call of Duty does.
There is a lot of CoD hate around here
Modern Warfare was the beginning of the end for me as far as CoD goes. People just got too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. At the end of a MP match I would have like 20 kills and 80 deaths. It just stopped being fun, and the SP campaigns in CoD have always been kinda meh
