When does someone become a cyborg?
And what exactly defines the term?
I, for example, have a hearing aid. Does that make me a cyborg?
Or people with pace makers, hip replacements etc etc

I would love Machanical Limbs. When I punch someone it will be like you've been hit by a truck.

I wear a wrist watch, therefore I am a cyborg. I can instantly know the time by looking at my arm.
Yes you are, now you're part of the Kool Kidz Klub™

Of the 80's and early 90's
I swear, every kid on the block had one of those plastic, black watches with a tiny screen and lots of buttons next to it.

Let's look at the Dictionary's definition first. "a person whose physiological functioning is aided by or dependent upon a mechanical or electronic device.

" Physiological = "consistent with the normal functioning of an organism"

So, given this definition, anyone with a hearing-aid, Artificial cardiac pacemaker, insulin pump, artificial limb, is technically a Cyborg.

So a hearing aid makes me semi-cyborg because I really don't need to hear in order to live?

So, in real life, would x-ray vision let you see somebody in their underwear or naked, or would it just show their bones? I'm leaning toward the latter.

If it was X-ray Vision based on an electromagnetic wave of high energy and very short wavelength, which is able to pass through many materials opaque to light, than NO. You would only see BONE as X-rays can't pass through bone, which is why you see them on X-rays.

However, you could get a video camera with Nighvision and then impliment a special IR Filter lens filter which you could then see underwear through clothes.

X-ray would only allow you to see the bones. However, if you had thermal vision, you would see through clothing and fabrics. But the bodies would be a solid silhouette of orange.
