A part of the term "cyborg" is that it extends you beyond the capabilities of normal human ability. A hearing aid does not do that, nor does a prosthetic unless its bionic.

If you use some machinery to enhance your body then you're a cyborg, no exceptions.

Create self-aware AI.
Do nothing.
Or fuse with machines.
When we do the third option. Humanity will evolve themselves to be better at everything or what they would like to be better at.
