Your body does a lot during sleep. Like destress and repair itself. If you use caffine all the time to try to sleep 3-5 less hours on average you will feel it badly down the line.
I've worked with some people who believe caffine to be some sort of magicall energy pill. Which its not. Your body gets energy from food. But first you lose energy because digestion takes energy to extract energy.
Caffine can give you insomnia and reduce the quality of sleep you do get as well. And insomnia when you don't want it, totally blows.
But if its just a one day thing. I'd go with black coffee. Avoid sugar because they can make you feel crashed. And I'd avoid foods that can make you feel tired like potatoes, turkey, and really anything high in fat,
I usually mix chocolate protein powder (Like cellucor Whey sport) into my tea/coffee 1-2 times a day. And make 1-2 pots per day of black tea with 8-10 tea bags a pot (if a cheap brand like national cup) or 5-6 if a more expensive type of tea. If I need extra caffine I can add a little sprinkle of instant coffee (like cafe BuenDia) to some of my cups of tea, but this will make the tea bitter. How bitter depends on the brand of coffee. (I get insomnia lot op! Its 6 am atm and I still can't sleep.)
Any tme I go whole days in a row on black coffee it doesn't end well. Caffine in really high amounts can cause problems/symptoms and can be dangerous.
i did it with very strong espresso and red bull. it works but your body will collapse after some time without good healthy sleep.
Sleep is critical to your body's ability to maintain and regulate itself, and there's no way to replace or replicate those functions. You need sleep - that's biologically non-negotiable.
What I can say is to STAY AWAY FROM CAFFEINE PILLS. The last time I took one I felt like by heart was going to pop.
Funny that, almost like you'd taken a massive straight-shot of a powerful stimulant...
It's as simple as this. Your body has basic needs: oxygen, water, food, sleep. None of those can be replaced with chemicals or drugs, and if you try you'll end up dead.
