Anyway to get bad mic quality?

I have heard that it isn't the mic's fault but mw2 would compress the audio or something. Anyway to achieve this type of mic quality?

Personally had an issue with my audio driver's recording volume being too quiet, so instead of completely deleting it and reinstalling in an attempt to fix it, I just went with the second guide instead.

Edit: normally to create the same bad mic quality you get from hearing someone talk while playing older games you'll have to download software that modifies your audio drivers in some way. You could even go with a standard voice changer.

Careful searching for any of these. There's several sites online you could use to check if any software is safe to use before installing or even opening a site in any browser.

Why couldn't you just run your mic audio through any number of distortion effects in a DAW, such as FL Studio? Or any other effects, for that matter. Flanges, reverbs, compressors...?

Just lower your Mic Bit rate to the lowest and you got yourself a Bad mic.

Go to the dollar store and buy a mic for a dollar. Then it will have crappy audio.
