They get over exposed, and that naturally leads to more people listening to their garbage, if only to see what the fuss is about
Eventually the stupidity will die down I presume, but then another issue will surface. The idiots will grow out of crappy music, but then other idiots will make something even worse.
No, because it's not as good. Regardless of my opinion it is inferior.
Indeed, I respect peoples opinions also, but the fact that these idiots get paid for such little effort is disheartening to say the least. What has 'your boy "lil uzi"' done to help the development of humanity?
Agreed. I look for rock, rock is usually good because it isnt mainstream pop crap.

Oh, I get you completely. Some people don't do crap to get what they deserve. >_<
1. Words dont always have to have meaning
2. Autotune is just effect. If it's used correctly, then it's good.
3. I didn't understand that statement
4. See 1
5. I agree with this point. But it's not new. And it's not always bad.
Your post is example of bigotry.
Modern pop music is definatly lower quality than what it was years ago. It's become so formulaic to the point that most of the number 1 charting songs are actually only written by 1 guy named Max Martin.
There is also a lot of very common techniques used in modern music such as "the millinnial woop" and other various common beats which are designed to give the listener a sort of familarity with the songs they are listening to.
Lastly the vocabulary range of music has been drastically reduced, in order to be better understood by younger people.
In the end though, music is all about taste and some people actually do really enjoy modern music.
1. A song is a story told with melody. Who would read Charlottes Web if it was in Chinese and you only spoke English.
2. Understood, but it's overused, and they make the most bland and talentless of singers sound acceptable, which is unfair because they only do that because they look somewhat attractive.
3. Could rephrase it better, a period of a song similar to a guitar solo, only with less effort due to it all being digital.
4. See 1.
5. No, not always but it's still there.
Irrelevant, don't tell me for a second that popular music of todays era utilises as much talent and effort as music from 30 years ago.
