Favorite gay characters in gaming?
Title says all. Discuss!

For me:

Kung Jin (Mortal Kombat X) - I really like how his sexuality was a very minor part of his character, and I REALLY like how he isn't stereotypically gay. He's also my main alongside Johnny Cage, and he's voiced by Lelouch vi Britannia. Win!

Niles (Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest) - I absolutely love how much of a lovable snake this guy is. He produces some of the funniest moments in the game but thankfully isn't a negative stereotype in any way. Yes, he's bisexual, but it still counts!

Heather (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn) - Love her for being a whimsical, cheerful lesbian thief who defied every stereotype associated with the atypical lesbian. Love this chick so much.

BTW, I'm just curious to hear who your favorite gay characters are.

I like Tracer from Overwatch and Roth from Assassin's Creed.

My female characters. They're female because if I watch to watch somebody's a$$ for hours, I prefer it to be a female one. They're also my characters, who play the way I want them to. They're gay because I'm male and there's no way I'm going to share the hotness with another male.

I gladly killed Kaiden in ME3 because he hit on my Femshep. It was supposed to be an emotionally-defining moment, but I had no qualms at all. Kaiden dies, let's move on to something interesting.

Similarly, despite my Lawful Good play-throughs of Skyrim, the heroine always marries Mjoll the Lioness and commits exactly one murder, that of the pathetic hanger-on who would otherwise accompany them to the awesome houses I build. It's for the greater good. We don't want our adopted children being raised by unproductive cowards.

What can I say? I'm male and proud of it. But this is a cop-out answer. If I had to identify my favorite gay character, it would be Garrus Vakarian. While he's not technically gay, I would consider going gay for Garrus in a very Spartan and manly way. He's always got your back, has that soothing voice, and the military mentality I love. There were times when I wanted to hug him, and that's as close to gay as I'm getting.

Exactly. I was saying that for online play, both Johnny Cage and Kung Jin were my mains, not that Johnny Cage liked dudes. He WAS married to Sonya, after all.
