praying mantis or whip scorpion?

Sadly a few days ago my praying mantis died :( (lived 3 years AND layed eggs). I now have an empty terrarium and can either get another praying mantis or a whip Scorpion! They are both lovely creatures being surprisingly friendly. No clue why I'm posting this on steam but I guess it's off topic :P. If you don't know what they are search them up the mantis type is undecided so....

In the wild winter probably kills them

Always loved the Mantis, so my vote goes there unless you are simply looking to try out something new.

Yeah it got really old the average lifespan of that type was like a year It had a good life.

Did you catch it yourself or order it? ours was found outdoors. we eventually re-released it back to the wild

She was called Marley (after the countries it naturally lives in)
