The Ending of Half-Life 3

Probably most of you now this by now
but i thought i would share it to the ones who dont

as you guys know Marc Laidlaw the lead writer of the half-life series left valve back in jan 2016

what seems to be the rest of the story after the events of HL2: EP2

now we know that HL3 or HL2::EP3 will never come
so thats the ending of a great classic game that we enjoyed back in the days.

PS: i bet that some very big time modders will combine (no pun intended) forces and make the episode out of that story which will be pretty dope. since they are really big and awesome mods out there.

I should point out that this whole article doesn't really confirm what the actual storyline is, neither does it confirm/deconfirm a possible HL sequel.

Remember Marc Laidlaw no longer works for Valve and he has recently made some tweets stating this was "fanfic" as well as a tweet stating that Valve may still want to do something relating to HL. I should also note that this could of been only one of many possible takes on episode 3.

Like it or hate it, the anticipation for Half Life 3 and it's awful memes associated with it (seriously stop posting memes of HL3) still exist.

Marc Laidlaw stopped working for VALVe because of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ethics with this platform.

Not sure what to think of it, former valve writer has released an ending to the half-life series, we're not sure why, and we're not sure if Valve is going to do something to him for it.

Oh, hey, look. It's the Aperture Science ship we all knew the plot was going to be about 10 years ago. Oh look. The G Man shows up and involves Alyx in his hi-jinx instead of Gordon, making the future plots about her... Like we knew already from the info on HL:ep 4 Return to Ravenholme...

All I see is a writer and former resigned to one of his biggest works never getting completed, and cleverly bypassing his NDA as a kind of spite.
