If you're talking about Cortana, that has been fixed. W10 is better optimized than W7.

8GB is enough for medium/high settings on most games, but some games require more than 8GB to play on higher settings or even run (Quantum Break).

For most games yes. If you want to run anything, I would suggest 16gb. That's what I have currently

Just remember to close memory hogs like browsers first and monitor your total usage so that it stays below 4GB, to avoid paging, and 8 should be enough.

16gb is overkill for most of 2016 games,
No games utilize more than 8gb if its a good port unless you really counting that memory leak.
16gb though is a new standard for current pc gaming to get the quickload.
