OMG WHY? It's not even a genre. It could be anything from sailor moon, to cowboy bebop to ghost in the shell, and the art styles of all three barely resemble each other.

But honestly, I would feel incredibly awkward watching anime in front of anyone, that's one thing I am keeping to myself only.

EDIT: Referring to animes like One Piece, JoJo and similar, I could watch Ghibli's movies any time with anyone.

My parents think anime and hentai are the same thing so to avoid this I just don't watch anime. Not that I would want to anyway.
