It's possible to beat the entire game without beating a stage by side-jumping through the doors.
i played sm64 a year before hl2 so it isnt nostalgia.
bowser looks like he was raped by 5 mechanical drills.
mario goes from slow to faster then light.
the level design in the later stages is pretty bad.
there is nothing eventfull to make you feel like you are in it.
hl2 has some pretty decent graphics and atmosphere in the chapters ,ravenholm, high way section, the citadel.
ravenholm made you wanna leave asap
highway 17 felt like you are truly exploring and interacting with people in a wasted land.
city 17 feels like an epic raid of a city.
and the citadel has got to be one of the most epic final hour in a game ( apart from the boss that one sucks )
I guess the fans since money alway's flow
I for one knew Valve became just another company years ago.
I harbor a special resentment to companies like Valve and Nintendo because they put on this mask, this elaborate act that they care about their fans, then they do ♥♥♥♥ like this that proves they don't care at all, they just do what makes the most money. Then they might apologize, but then they do it again.
