Why does Shadowplay look like garbage?
I use Nvidia Shadowplay to record gameplay but it always turns out muddy.

I have tried changing around my render settings in sony vegas but that really has not helped me, it always never looks right, so im assuming its just the software im using.

If you guys could help me find a better thing to record with i urge you to add me or something

(here is an example, sorry for the horrible commentary)

I use ManyCam for a variety of things, including screen recording. It is however, a paid subscription product.

OBS is junk to me it makes all videos look washed out and the reds look brown. Bandicam has come a long way. It even lets you use the amd or nvidia codec.

Did you set the right color palette?

Yes i know how to do video editing. It's just that obs uses poorly made codecs which result in poorly looking videos. I mean after all it's free so they have to use free codecs which in the end results in poor videos. That is why i paid for bandicam they don't use freely made codecs.

True, OBS is perfectly reasonable software, especially for being free, but it's got limited capabilities.

Do you have shadowplay configured correctly? It works just fine with me. Does the raw file on your computer look bad as well?

Compression = Small file size.
>higher bitrate (>40mbps) for 1080p60 videos
>disable video sampling in magix vegas (or should i say crack vegas)
>render in .mp4 instead of other formats with high bitrate and correct inputs
