Can anyone explain this WinRAR Math 'joke'..?

For some reason, I was reading about WinRAR (which is insanely popular but I don't really use anymore, I use other things, heh) and I came across this "Math Joke" about WinRAR.... But my brain can't Math...

So, can any Mathematicians please explain the joke inherent in this? Thank you muchly for any attempts:

WinRAR = log(infinity, 40)

WinRAR = log(infinity, 40)

Would be a joke that their trial version doesn't expire, rather some just use it for years on end. It's meant to be 40 days, then nag screens upon each launch. Yet lasts for infinity. It's a pretty lame joke, but has meaning.

Quoting the app developer himself in regards to customers using their product after the trial period... they actually know and allow it:

"Every software producer currently has to deal with this. Yet this problem does not hurt us as much as it may hurt others since we already have a very liberal way of allowing users to continue using our software after the trial-period is over. Many users actually believe our software is freeware and why would you bother about using a pirated and potentially harmful version if the original can be used instead?"

It's actually basic anti-pirating protection. Hey man you want to support our software, it's been day 358 of your 40 day trial? Not yet, okay... just remember. Hey man, there's a special sale on purchases of our software, want to do it now? Still not, okay... gonna assume your some poor kid who can't afford yet or just some tight ass, will ask again when you have grown up.

The RAR Trial software has full functions, except for: Add authenticity info, show protocol file, and delete protocol file. Why? It's for business practices, almost all companies will play by the rules to remain legal. Therefore companies will purchase the RAR license across all of their systems. This doesn't affect the public, but they can still choose to get a license too, which removes the nag. Hense they still make quite a few good sales and have gone viral too, while greatly reducing pirating too.
