Does the term "stolen valor" apply to just wearing replica camo.
Or does it only apply to people trying to fool others into thinking they are war veterans?

I think, the latter.
As long as you aren't decorating yourself, and it isn't Halloween...

So if some one came up to me and try to intimidate me I would just say that I'm not in the army and that I just wear it as a jacket for example.

Tell them to take it up with the soldier who sold his valor to the salvation army.
Apparently it has a price, so it wasn't stolen.

(but really, valor doesn't reside in a peice of clothing)

stolen valor means you impersonate a military official, wearing camo and certain hats doesn't count

i can not be a pro football player
i would get rudely trampled and crushed
there would be no mercy
but i show my love and respect for my team
as i parade around in my replica jersey only $49.95

I have a Vietnam era jacket (I think) but the whole camo trend is really just for the military and rednecks.

The latter.

Their was actually a big thread on this a few weeks ago on a large gun board I belong too with a large number of .mils on it and the poll was like 90% were ok with it as long as you didn't claim to be anything you are not.

Those guys coming back from Nam found a lot worse in their face besides wearing their uniforms.

I'm sure you aren't stealing any valor. I can't guarantee that someone doesn't choke you out for it anyway.

I say wear what you like. It's one of the reasons men serve. Freedom.

Oh, replica camo? ♥♥♥♥ man, you wear all the camo you like

I imagine they don't care. Plenty of fathers hand down their gear to future generations.

Just don't be asking for money or favors. It's not like it's some special key to pity.

This a term I've never once heard before.

If someone has a problem with you simply wearing camo then it is porbably something to do with them and not you.

The people who shout Stolen Valor dont care they are just trying to mjake themself look like a hero for pointing you out for doing it. Sure, its a scummy thing to do just to get a discount or whatever but its not that big of a deal.
CrapAttackah 6 AGO 2017 a las 11:07 a. m.
if you're wearing camo, only idiots will scream "STOLEN VALOR"
I would think that you were hunting, or you just like to wear camo.

Me neither. Because I don't live in America. So people don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about stuff like this.
