If you're into cyberpunk, give Ghost in the Shell and Gunnm (a.k.a. Battle Angel Alita) a go. The latter is my favourite to this day.

Gunnm is my favorite as well.

Lets me drop a few others I really enjoyed.
Akira : The movie hasn't got squat on the massive story the manga drops.
Blades of the Immortal : A bloody good samurai romp, with one of my favorite chracters, Manji the Hundred Man Killer.
Appleseed : If you like Ghost in the Shell, you will like this. A Cyberpunk tale from the same creator, it a world after the apocalypse.
Orion : Another work from the Ghost creator, which is full of magic and gods, which is over the top full of action and humor.
Gunsmith Cats : Girls, guns, and grenades, set to high speed car chases in Chicago.

I use a subscription,
But I believe there a few apps that take mangas from the internet and give them to you.

Basically,a browser for mangas.

Search around,and you should be able to find them.

And i am pretty sure nobody here asked for your opinion on Japanese cartoons and comics. Is it so hard ignoring things you don't like?

Anyway, Berserk, JoJo, Fist of the North Star and One Piece are only manga's i've been reading, and i like them a lot.

My favorite manga/anime of all time is probably Rune Soldier. Definitely recommend watching the show, it's a 2-part (24 episodes total) fantasy style series, which focuses on a group of adventures and a bumbling magician who is constantly failing(?) at magic and instead relies on his fists. It's very comical but not in an over-the-top sort of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo kind of way.

My goodness, I'll second this. Louie's antics are a barrel o' laughs. Just thinking back at that one made me laugh.
