Why are people inquisitive?
The question is for Plaid. He's wondering why people ask so many questions. The answer is, why are they inquisitive?
But why invest money to develop something that will have little to no return?
Games like Insurgency and Squad show that pretty well, you can tell that the devs are doing what they're doing because they love it, and money isn't as big a factor for them.
Hopefully, they have the money to support their hobby of making mediocre games :) Even developers need to restore the calories that was burnt during the many hours of tapping that keyboard day and night.
I don't think that they really release mediocre games for the hell of it, heck, most indie FPS games are better than new CoD titles, but they also don't have the resources or experience that most AAA devs have.
Pretty much lol.
Call of Duty is older than most of the kids alive today and it's not an indie developer.
