Because as long as people eat meat, there will be no ethical treatment of animals. No matter how you put it, killing an animal for the sole purpose of taste is not ethical. Eating meat is not healthy either. It's high in both cholesterol and saturated fats, which causes increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other health issues. Not to mention, processed meat and red meat are classified as carcinogens. How is that healthy and balanced?
NO, NO, NO And NO
I won't Eat Grass for your Sake !
While my own diet has dropped since I left home, it is possible to eat meat without being a pop-bellied American. You just have to find the right meat, and NOT stuff it with steroids and grain.
I don't hunt anymore, as I have little use for a freezer full of deer. I do have a friend who drops me off some deer sausages once a year. I might join the coyote cull this year, as these people really seem to suck at it.
I get hunting as your sole means to eat but in terms of trophy hunting:
At best you're a monster and at worst you're a sociopath.
Fox hunting is the latter.
And then they turn around and act like they care about my health.
You don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about my health! I only weigh ~46-49kg and cutting stuff out of my diet for no reason could actually kill me.
You're just triggered that my diet is hurting your little animal friends.
