Why doesn't anyone ever give me a thumbs up on a screenshot or artwork even though i always give everyone else a thumbs up?

i always give "friends" thumbs up when ever they post screens or art to the activity feed but no one ever returns the friendliness back to me. is anyone else feeling like this too?

Well then you have bad friends, or they just don't really care about your artwork.

i think your right oren, the only time i ever get any gratitude or thumbs up is when a random person goes to my steam account and thumbs something up but people in my friends list just ignore me. and it makes me feel like s*it too because of how much gratitude i show everybody but it never comes back to me.

i don't just mean artwork but screenshots mostly i always thumbs up everyone screenshots but mine just get left ignored

its not just artwork though but screenshots. and whenever i see people uploading artwork to the activity feed it is usually not their artworks 100% of my artworks are created by me and no one else. i always thumbs up people artworks too but the gratitude is never given back to me.

Never check other people's artwork and screenshots.
The screen shots I take are actually for me to use, I like how they show on the library game page and you can capture some good moments.

It's not Facebook where likes means anything, especially on a community that begs for likes and attention.

i feel exactly the same way but the only reason i am even mentioning it is because when i look at my friends, friends list and look at their friends screens i see thumbs up and comments from people right when their friends upload a screenshot but for me i am 100 percent ignored and trust me the people in my friends list are constantly on the activity feed judging by how fast they comment back to me when i comment on their screenshots and how often they post announcements. so yea i guess i just have to make things for myself and not care about feedback from my "friends".

i only recently started to take it personally when people started to just ignore me except for people like u i just barley met but people i have known on steam for years just ignore me now. but ye i think im just taking this steam thing to personally just like someone said this isn't facebook.
