The Interverse
Imagine, if you will, a world that is the personification of the Internet as we know it. Small websites would be like villages, towns, and cities, and large websites like Youtube, Tumblr, 4chan, and Steam itself would be like countries, nations, empires! It's history would mirror that of the history of our Internet, albeit in a way that makes sense for a physical world instead of a virtual one. And this world would be called The Interverse!

What do you think? Sound good? Sound bad? Let me know! And if you care enough, then tell me, or even show me: what would this world look like? It doesn't necessarily have to just be on a single planet, it could span multiple planets, solar systems, galaxies, hell, even entire UNIVERSES! And it will be glorious.

No
tumblr would be the planet that gets raided over and over again and they would apologize for existing every raid.

what about the deepweb

I suppose the deep web could be like a literally underground society, or perhaps an alternate dimension if we're talking on a grander scale.

Calling it the "inter"verse does somewhat defy the idea of having it span the entire "uni"verse.
But I do enjoy the idea of having it call a verse. Because they're both submissive to change.

Well, "Interverse" sounded better to me than "Internetverse", so yeah, take your pick. Or come up with something new, if you so please.
On a more serious note, you're talking about VR i assume. And this is actually something i've put a lot of thought into also. Although less commercial and more social.

If you're not joking, this would make a cool game. But there may be copyright issues with brand names. But I would play that game.
Still better than the Emoji movie.

Actually no, I'm not talking about virtual reality. I'm talking about a full alternate reality which is the physical embodiment of the Internet as we know it.
I'd hate that.
World would be much uglier place than it is now.

How are you going to create an alternate reality without it being a 'virtual' one?

Just imagine all of YouTube being physical buildings and channel owners living in them, in one area, like a city size.
