Is the Xbox one X a pc killer? (for its price!)

i was planning on building a pc that cost around $2000 dollars, and i noticed a buzz about the X, turns out its the MOST powerful console YET and, well, should i get it instead of a pc (i really dont want to pay so much, but dose it beat a windows 10 8gb 1070 PC? im really only going to play gta V fallout 4 ect.)

I think theres 3 types of people when asking questions like the op did.
People who love console
People who love pc
And most of all people who know the facts and the real answer to the question.
PC will most likely always be ahead.
Console creators use modified PC components ( which says it all)
I don't think it's worth arguing about. Opinions are opinions and facts are facts

Well, yes, but if we dont get 100% of the info, some facts, might be false. For a "4k" gaming experience, 100% xbox is the better option in terms of price, but if you want to game on 720p, you don't even get that option. These are both fact, but without the background info, they are both false.

Well, originally, i was asking if for the price of the console, dose it beat PC's, i never expected 92 posts and arguments. first comment. is the best.

If that's the question then I think the answer is yes, for the prices its better or equal. There are reasons for that I could go into, then again I don't believe one way or another. Just my speculation would be it's a good device for $500.

Thank you, this is ALL i wanted. A simple, effective, yes or no answer and some opinions

I'm sure you would have got more to the point, factual answers if you gave 100% of the info at first, such as already owning a 4k tele. But yeah, no problem.

It's like a Ferrari 458 italia vs my Ford cmax.
Yes the Ferrari is the "better" car but does exactly the same job when there are limitations put in place.
