The only problem is it's multiplayer only.
If you're looking for a good single player experience, try the early Call of Duty games (Call of Duty 2). It's not as realistic as Red Orchestra/Rising Storm because your character has a lot of health. But most of the missions are based on actual battles -- the devs actually travelled to the battle sites to make sure they were accurately portrayed, and interviewed vets who fought in them, and went to a firing range to fire the actual guns you use in-game to record the sound they make when firing.
