How does Humble Monthly work?
Can someone explain it to me please?
From what i can understand its:
  • $12 a month
  • Instant payment of $132 instantly so you dont have to pay every single month (assuming 12 month)
  • You get a bunch of games every month, some AAA some indie
  • You get some games when you subscribe instantly to play straight away.
  • When you subscribe you get the next month's games not the current month
  • They give you a Steam Key for every game you recieve
  • You get a 10% discount on Humble Store
  • You keep the games forever in Humble Library, so if you unsubscribe or end subscription, you still keep games
Is that correct? Also how is payment performed like through a Debit Card link or is there like 'wallet cards' to purchase in stores, such like Steam does?

Thanks for any help, not sure if this is the correct Forum.

Sounds about right, but who wants to pay $12 to be clogged with shovelware?

Almost correct.
- The payment of 12 months worth of cames at once is entirely optional, you can pay per month, once a month
- The last bundles each contained one indie game that was only available through direct download, not through steam. With some games you get to chose if you get a Steam key or a download link, some games (indie) have both the key and the download link.

Payment is done through paypal, card or amazon (I don't know if there are more/different ways to pay in other countries, I am in Germany).

You are correct, just keep in mind that you can't buy it with a prepaid card.

Cool, thanks. Have any of you used Monthly before? If so, what do you think of it? Worth it? Cause i had a look at past and curent 'monthly bundles' such as Rocket League, Dark Souls 2, NBA2K17, etc

This month contained Galactic Civilization III, Dark Souls 2 and Sherlock Holmes The Devil's Daughter. The next month will at least contain Pillars of Eternity and NBA 2017 - While those might not match everybodys taste, I would hardly call that shovelware...

Imo most games aren't really worth it, when you're thinking of buying one month then look the game that it gives you instantly. That will be the best game of the bundle, the rest are almost always low quality indie.

There is a bit of a risk/reward involved since they aren't telling you what you'll get; however, given that Humblebundle is the last one that's still trying to make good bundles (at least for PC; don't know about the mobile bundles), one can assume they are extra-careful with the humble monthly.

Personally, I'm even assuming that humble monthly is the reason why they basically stopped making PC bundles -- anything with decent quality probably goes into a monthly.

"Stopped making PC bundles"
Incorrect.

Very true, very true, but for every game you're interested, there will probably be 3 that you don't care for. Those could make good gifts, probably.

Superhot, PlagueInc, Galactic Civilisations 3, Dark Souls 2, Stellaris, Dirt Rally, The Witness, Total War Warhammer, XCOM2, Ryse, Abzu, Project Cars, The Escapists, Stardew Valley, Rebel Galaxy, Hotline Miami 2, Soma, W2K16, Town of Salem, COD BO3, Rocket League, The Forest, Mad Max, This War of Mine, South Park Stick of Truth, Ark Survival Evolved, I am Bread, Alien Isolations, etc

Doesnt look like shovelware to me. I hope the future bundles has PUBG, H1Z1 or something else awesome in it.

I get them since day one - but I like collecting games and I like gifting games to my friends. There were two month that I fest dissappointed (June 2016 / April 2017), but even those had $12 worth in it - just not for me.
If you are unwilling to try out formerly unknown indie games, don't get it (at least not a year ahead)
If you are likely to grief/be angry if you get a game you allready have or a game you don't like, don't get it.
If you expect every game to be at least as good as the game they use to promote the bundle, don't get it.
Otherwise, it is worth the money (IMO).

So if they give you a Steam code for one of the month's games, and you already own the game, can you just send the code to a friend or be used in a group giveaway?

That is ther regular game bundle, not the monthly bundle. Look under monthly, then under 'previous months',
