What use are +reps on profiles even

Honestly

It makes me sick of seeing people doing rep farms, especially in giveaways and / or raffles

I mean cmon, what use are they even

They're only good for attracting little idiotic trader kids, and some people even take reps so seriously (one kind example was someone harassing the ♥♥♥♥ out of me for giving him a -rep on steam when he was doing some rep farming)

Then there's also those type of poeple who makes their comments friends only, and it's just completely filled with +reps, which is just absolutely idiotic

What do you guys think

The only rep+ I give any value to is ppl who have them from like 2013 and before. And even then if they seemed dodgy I wouldn't want to trade lol.

Agreed. I guess it just shows trustworthyness although it used to be only for trading/buying stuff on third-party sites.

It's just something you say to people who you have a nice trade with or can trust. They can be fake and they can be real, it's just something social that you can decide whether to take it or not, or to judge by it or not.

But objectively, it has no value nor use. It's all subjective.
