Could the anime and manga industry crash ?
Do you think that due to overpriced DVD's BlueRay's and manga volumes as well as an overproduction of anime and manga could lead to the industry crashing in the future just like gaming did in the early 80's ?

The apocalypse zero manga was never scanslated, nor ofiicialy translated.

English releases are physically available in 6 volumes, and online in 7 volumes.

The Apocalypse Zero has a total of 11 volumes, and the english release was dropped at volume 6 or 7.

Maby someone should bring back the license.

Weebs (not saying they're bad nor good, just a term, just like the term trekker(a Trekkie is different)) will never stop watching manga, so no
I think the non-derogatory term for weeb is otaku. Outside of Japan anyway.

Isn't "otaku" an insult in Japan that means a shut-in dropout?

Yup. But it seems to be a western culture thing to take insults and turn them into titles. Sort of like how African-Americans call each other ♥♥♥♥♥♥, or how "nerd" is used as a positive word now days.

You're thinking of hikikomori.

After spending years going to comic book/anime/sf&fantasy convention... I'd say...

Nah.

They are almost crashing, mosy people watch on illegal sites where the creators earn small amount of money.

This is true. The industry has lost a lot of talent over the last few years. It does not maybe seem like it, but it is in a down turn financially right now.

p.s. we pay for a sub at Crunchyroll and Funimation. Also Netflix has a bit of stuff on it as well.

There are also major problems I have with the writing in anime take a look at the Goku character (Goku, Naruto, Luffy ECT) he doesn't feel like a real person that the audience can relate to as in a matter of fact most of the characters in anime in general feel more like tropes than characters, You can put these characters through whatever you like emotionally but it will be for nothing because they don't feel relatable or believable in the first place.
