Online dating is overrated...

Just get a dog, train him to fetch, then release into the public. As the dog bites and drags your soon to be new girlfriend back to you, gasp "Oh noes, Poodles, what have you done! Don't worry my lady I will save you and nurse you back to health!" Then for her safety, lock her in the basement as your dog might roam the rest of the house. She will never leave you.
