Why has nobody invented a console that can hold multiple disks yet?
Seriously though.

What tf does that mean?
It means a good Hard Disk Drive can hold over 80 discs worth of code and data.

If you mean a multi tray system, it is because:

1) More moving mechanical parts means more things to break.

2) Games are usually played for several hours at a time. Changing a disk at most 3 times a days isn't a major inconvenience.

3) It would make the system more expensive.

4) It would make the system larger taking up more room on a shelf.
Install the games so you don't have to change discs.

Is that how it works? When I played on PS4 I don't remember there being an option for installing the game from the disc

Yeah no it worked the same way as xbox 360 did, it installs a huge chunk to your hdd and requires the disc to be in the system for security reasons etc etc

Yeah...that's what I thought. So what is Gordy talking about?
If the consoles let you install the games, then you could just do that and not be able to resell the games second hand as a result.

This is originally what Microsoft was planning for the Xbox series down the road.

No idea lol its really simple To understand, because if it was just that easy of copying all your games and tucking them away then piracy would be through the roof.
