Any good exploration games out there?

I'm looking for a game that I can play for free, hopefully 3D, that I can go around and explore in, and find some crazy weird creatures and amazing things to marvel at. I would perfer a survival / crafting game. Don't care if it isn't, though. Any suggestions?

mmos are like that, archeage is rly pretty :) you can use a glider to fly around too, and its free :)
and archeage has crafting, but not like minecraft crafting

Wildstar has a decent exploration system for a mmo. Actually has a skill for it as opposed to simply mapping the zones.

Not free, but I'm having a blast with Subnautica, and I also spend most of my time in the Fallout universe just exploring.

i just noticed that! I just got back into minecraft and building casles, that stuff never gets old.

archeage is rly pretty and is fun to like explore around, theres crafting and like lots of diferent types of creatures, theres crafting too, oh its mmo tho. but its free :)
you can build houses for yourself and plant things too, idk much tho cause im new
