What's your opinion on Lip Syncing at concerts?

I've seen people who despise it and i've seen people who try to justify it, what do you think?

I think if you can't sing your own song properly, you shouldn't be on stage in the first place.

I feel if i pay hundreds of dollars to see someone sing and they lip sync i feel i have been ripped off and demand my money back. If they won't give it back i'll just sue them and make them pay all my court fees.

Lip-syncing turns a musician into a charlatan. There are a lot of reasons for it, from performance confidence to technical convenience - but if they want to be perceived as "real" or "serious", musicians won't do it.

Depending on the instrument and the venue, it can be pretty easy to lip-sync and no one will know.

To be fair, it's completely fine but I'd rather see someone who's trained for at least a few months sing their own songs than someone lip syncing.
Plus, if your voice is good, why the ♥♥♥♥ would you lip sync?

Performers should stop all the flipping and prancing and jumping and just in general stop making fools out of themselves when performing live. Maybe then they'd have enough air to actually sing.

No wonder they have to lipsync with all the athletic mumbo jumbo. If I want to see a clownlike megatantrum I will not bother with madonna, I'll go watch squirrels in the park.
