Gamer with disability
Hello, people.

I love to play games, but it has become somewhat difficult since I got involved in an accident 5 years ago and became quadriplegic. I have found a way to play some games - Diablo 3 and Hearthstone, to be exact - using voice recognition software - voice attack - and a camera Mouse software - enable viacam-. I am not able to play anything that requires sharp reflexes, because all the commands suffer a little delay, but it's not that bad for the game is that I play.

I know there is a controller especially designed for people like me. It's called Quadstick. The problem is that I don't have the money to buy it for now. So, I came here to ask you indications of games that you think that I could have fun playing so I can have a more diverse Library. Also, I am thinking of live streaming and recording videos for YouTube so I can try to raise money to buy the Quadstick. What do you think about it?

Thank you all!

Pretty much everything turn based then.
Like X-COM, or RPGs like Final Fantasy (except 11&14).

I have tried to play Final Fantasy 7, but although it is turn-based, the action from your opponent does not wait for you to finish your moves. I've heard a lot of good stuff about XCOM, I'm going to give it a look. Do you know if any game of the final fantasy series I have a turn-based combat where the enemies can't attack you until you finish your stuff?

Thanks.

Final Fantasy X and X-2 (but you have to toggle it in options for X-2 to be turn based system)

Thank you, I'll give it a look. I totally forgot about it. I used to love the Age of Empires series.
If you're into XCOM 2, it's $12 USD over on Humble Monthly. Which is basically theft.

Early FFs like FF1 and 2 waits until you finish your turn.

You might want to try the Last Remnant. The battle system is really great.

Thank you very much. This looks interesting!

There are a lot of good roguelike games which you could play like Brogue, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, DCSS, Unreal World and many more. Dwarf Fortress (Adventure Mode at least) might be possible too.
dungeon crawl stone soup (as mentioned by danksama) probably my favorite game and game with most playtime of ALL time. completely 100% free, check it out if you want. http://crawl.develz.org/trunk is where you get the latest (tiles) build. http://crawl.develz.org is the main page (you can also play online and have other people spectate you from the main website, else, tiles is fully offline)

That's a shame. I would really love to play Final Fantasy. I have tried to use emulators since I love Super Nintendo games, but since the way voice recognition and virtual keyboards input information is different than entering keystrokes mechanically, the commands like you simply don't work.

I will definitely take a look at the Last Remnant, thank you very much.
