In your opinion, does mobile gaming count as real gaming?
I see it as a way for developers to exploit people for easy cash. I don't really see, say, Clash of Clans as a gaming experience so much as a money spending ritual. However, I also think that people should play games that they see as fun and pleasing. What do you think?

For instance, playing TF2 or Machinarium? What I mean by that is games that are actually known well as games and aren't a gray area of microtransactions.
No such thing as real gaming though, no such things as gamers either, just people who play games.
Watching movies = filmers?
Reading books = bookers
Watching TV = tellies?
It's just a stupid word to group people who play games together.

There are plenty of good games on mobile, final fantasy mobius for example which is 100% free, microtransactions are optional, you're basically complaining about consumerism instead here, Warframe and many other games on consoles are worse for microtransactions.
Bookworms and film enthusiasts are the words you're looking for. Much like watching a sporting event doesn't make you a jock, playing one video game doesn't make you a gamer.

Mobile gaming is for peasant's...

For peasant's what?
tmwfte 2017 年 1 月 18 日 上午 7:30
Yes my friend they're the lowest of the low. They are the grime at the bottom of a trash can or the chewing gum you stood on when walking on the pavement. The worst kind of peasantry .... cheerio.

That doesn't answer the question. You used a possessive. So what belonging to the peasant is mobile gaming for?
tmwfte 2017 年 1 月 18 日 上午 7:35
grrrrrrrrrr

For the peasant's "grrrrrrrrrr"? I'm sorry, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Please elucidate on what belonging of the peasant mobile gaming applies to and how you've set yourself to be its superior.
Commander Makara 2017 年 1 月 18 日 上午 7:39
The apostrophe of the peasantry isn't the thing to be.
Improper punctuation makes for impunctual action.
tmwfte 2017 年 1 月 18 日 上午 7:40
No you're being annoying , it's my opinion lol

"Peasant's" is not your opinion, it's your downfall. It's not even an opinion.

It's gaming but gamers don't appreciate it. It mocks us, like we are just people who give away money and nothing else.

There's no such thing as a "real gamer". If you want to use the term "gamer" then all that means is that you play video games, regardless of how causally or otherwise. There is no predetermined numeric or system to differentiate between the two other than your own justification of what classifies as a "real gamer".

Mobile gaming is the same as everything else. Your [anyone here, no just OP] preference is not a deciding factor in it. You may think mobile gaming is a farce, but it is still "gaming".

True.

Do you ever take a sunday drive in a normal car? Did you ever race a real sports car? Both are acts of driving. Just, because you are driver doesn't make you a racer, right? Though a car racer is always a car driver, right? You can play the game distinictions. So mobile gaming is like having a sunday drive and real gaming is pedal to the metal going bat out of hell.

That's a dreadful analogy. There also is no such thing as a "normal" car. Normal is relative.

Anyone that drives a car is a "driver". Anyone that races a car against another vehicle is a "racer". It doesn't mean you're good at what you do, or even a racer that knows what their doing or any inclination of how to properly do said sport or activity, but you're still one whether self-classified or nationally sponsored.

The quality or method in which you go about it is meaningless, much like mobile gaming. Moving it to a different platform does not negate from the activity of gaming, much like racing in a different car under different circumstances makes you any less a "racer".

I never said "git gud" had anything to do with the act of racing. It is the fact they just actually try to race cars is the most important of all distinctions and not just the drive cars.

The quality of method in which you got about is not meaningless, because you can't run a Total War game on a mobile device. Like you can't win a drag race in a Robin Reliant.

So you can run down the street pushing shoping trollies side by side, but nobody is going to ever call you a car racer for sure.

Total War Battles: Shogun and Total War Battles: Kingdom would disagree with you.
