Arcade opened up between me and my high school thus I spent a LOT of time there - I don't remember which I played *first* but there was Tempest and Pong (pong = at the pizza shop on the old floor-based tv), all the others from that first wave era.

I made several more on that since I bought it too.
It was a 1v1, the blue guy vs. the green guy, using the arrow keys for the blue guy and wasd for the green guy. If the blue guy died he would catch fire and turn to ash. If the green guy died he would just split into two halves and plop down in his gore xD
Runescape was such a fun game, I spent a couple of years playing that.
