Windows and Xbox Gift Cards
For my friend's birthday I was hoping to get her a gift card that'll work with the Windows Store on the PC for an app she'll really want, but I went to four different stores (EB Games, Woolworths, etc) and couldn't find the Windows Gift Card (the blue one or purple), however I saw plenty of the Xbox Gift Cards.

So I was wondering would buying a Xbox Gift Card work on the Windows Store to purchase apps? Since both the Xbox and Windows Gift card both say in the bottom
"Buy apps, games, music, movies, TV and more on Xbox and Windows.*"

Just give her the cash and say they where out of gift cards. It gives a lot more freedom to use as she wants, plus there will be no concerns or issues. Just put it inside a nice card or something.
