So now they are applying pressure on the online media providers, give them money, then pull the plug unless they confirm to nice leftism propaganda.
As Chowder said why doesn't youtube allow advertisement from AK47 or right sided products.
I have never seen an advert for condoms on Youtube, or for health care products.
edit: btw i am a Zerohedger
actually more often then not advertisers have no idea what the content is of the shows. Its only once they are told that they then take action if they decide to pull or not
Do us a favour paradox, can you show us any of these internet bullies, fascists, fearmongers, propagandists, etc. and worse get rich from peddling their crap on youtube so we can see what you see as these groups ?
Take a channel like PelleK who pays close to 50% of his Youtube earning for copyrights so he can sing covers of various songs. Now he is looking at getting less then 9% from Youtube do to them cutting the pay. That is going to make it so that he can't pay the copyright use fees leaving him in a state of being unsure if he can even keep going. He is trying to get help from starting a patreon donation in hopes to keep what he does going. If Youtube doesn't change for the better many channels like PelleK are going to move on to the next thing that is more willing to offer the same, or better features with better pay for content creators.
Well, WSJ wants to drive traffic with their clickbait slandering of Pewdiepie. Blown completely out of the water for the greed of profit. Then they get hit back for it, so use dirty tactics in revenge getting advertisers to leave Youtube (rather than merely attempting to resolve the ad target issues, which could of easier been fixed up like Google Adsense giving advertisers more control over it's placement).
Then you have the other side, such as Keemstar, saying boycott all the advertisers that left Youtube. Starts saying "Thanks Coke" and buying their drinks, because their ad was on Youtube (but they withdrew 2) so suddenly switches over to "Thanks Dr. Pepper" and insult/harassing, creating a huge negative mob mentality against Pepsi.
Both side doing the same thing which got them into this mess, but rather than acting like adults and resolving it, but fight like little kids throwing insults and slander back and forwards.
It's so stupid... advertisers should have a right to place these ads on what content they want, as they pay for it and don't want to support harassment/cyberbullying, etc. Fair enough. Blackmailing them back isn't going to work. How about people actually work with each other?
As for the LGBT community, Youtube supports them too and again blown up and stirred up just for drama and negative mob mentality. Don't people seriously know how a 'restricted' filtering system would work for child protection? It's nothing to do with LGBT, it's to do with the sexual content behind that - 90% of the rest of it being adult content not suitable for kids. A computer system doesn't hate, it's just coded to block out lesians or gays having sex as parents might not want their kids watching that. Therefore the filter pasts onto the more G-rated gays and les content as well... logically.
There's a bunch of hipocrisy...
Such as Disney themselves had huge anti-semitic jokes back in the day with their own content/cartoons. The guy at wall street journal also made anti-semitic jokes on his own twitter account, etc.
They just make it into a lot more than it needed to be.
I meant it's more the other side supporting Pewds - as new reporters claiming WSJ is bad and evil, digging up dirt and harassing back in revenge, boycotting the ads which left Youtube, etc. They have become one of the same, doing it mostly for the views.
As for Pewdiepie himself, well he did admit to his own mistake and took some responsibly for it. So I'll give that credit. He's still been making a few childish revenge snapbacks, but not as a hipocrite as such.
I'm not talking about a crowd merely watching, I'm talking about a mob and an announcer jumping into the ring of the wrestling match. The actors therefore become part of the show.
For example and I quote: "Pepsi did 911 confirmed by PewDiePie! #DramaAlert" <--- This is NOT helping and just adds to the problem. Keemstar trying to seek revenge for Pepsi leaving Youtube ads, but by doing what he's trying to protest again and got them in the mess in the first place, like wtf. That's what I'm talking about. It's another so-called fake new media, just on the other side doing the same thing back. That's hipocrisy 101 and childish behavior in addressing with the problem. Then they are like durrr wondering why they don't want their ads back on Youtube, after attempting to blackmail and insult them into it. How old are these people?
