Always wanted to fight this. Why do you need a taller guy anyway? :D

like I said, stone age mindset. they need a tall guy to feel protected and "feminine" even on this day and age.

I just think it's a huge contradiction that they choose to be inferior to their partners but at the same time want to be viewed as strong but hey, I gave up trying to understand women years ago

Well, lets not get that sharp. To me, choosing a person who can understand me and person I can understand is all that matters. You know what they say, belly will meet belly anyways, whatever the height. It may look 'funny' to people around you but like I said, you live for yourself not for them.People will talk anyway.

Protectionism is ridiculous too.I find tall ones to be weak.In martial arts, my tall opponents were unstable and easy to put on ground. It was my height (1.78) who would give me hard time and those in 1.70 range who would be incredibly strong.

I don't know, if I was a sentient pencil and could choose to accompany another set of pencils, I'd be with the pencils that write better than me.
It isn't really some kind of female inferiority complex. Men have the exact same bias in regards to larger men, just in the reverse. The same mindset applies with larger men in regards to smaller men. Although I have noticed a fairly common trend of smaller men overcompensating with aggressiveness to "Make up" for a lack of inches.

I rarely ever see that in women. Men have more associated with height than women tend to.

That's called Napoleon Complex.
Which is funny, since he wasn't really short.

We should call it the Tom Cruise syndrome.

How do you drop weight and gain muscle?
I was a teenager.
But muscle weighs more than fat so if you gained muscle and lost fat shouldn't you have gained weight?

Tom Hanks is 6 foot.

And Devito is awesome, and seems totally content being a short awesome guy. He DID marry Rhea Pearlman, so he apparently likes taller women.

And I don't think Kenny Baker had a complex. Or the few times I met him, he seemed pretty chill.

Maybe Vern Troyer Disorder. I met him once, and saw him drunk out of his mind on stage with Limp Biskit during the Napster tour, and he was pretty cocky and throwing heat.

Ah, but Napoleon wasn't short for the time period. Him being tiny was actually partially because of confusion between French and English measurement systems and his habit of surrounding himself with very tall soldiers. It's a myth.

Where as Tom Cruise IS in fact short for our times.
