But seriously, you can make cookie dough with pasturized eggs and eat it raw all you like. Almost no chance of catching something bad, like Salmonella.
Its mostly a matter of better-safe-than-sorry.

you can slightly preheat buns in (microwave) oven for like 4 seconds.
