PC Games Full of Immature Players?
There is an overwhelming amount of pussified extremist players on PC games compared to their console counterparts. Using really cheap weapons/tactics in order to get every little bit of edge. I've done this kind of stuff before, but honestly I don't find it fun at all. Spawncamping, camping, using OP weapons, etc. What's the fun if you can't beat the enemy in the most challenging way? I just had somebody brag about how their K/D was at 2.73 on Battlfield 3 and mine was at 2.65, when the only reason they have that K/D is because they use cheap tactics. Who's the better player? Me of course, I acheived a higher K/D using underpowered weapons simply to see what I could do with them in that match. On console, these players exist less frequently, and I just assume that they are a bit more casual and don't care enough to play like that. I've always played the same and therefore say it's not the platform that makes the gamer. Anyway, I've noticed an increase of these players since I've started on PC.

If someone wants to play a game in the easiest way possible, how does that make them "immature"? You may think of yourself as a "true" and "hardcore" gamer, but not everyone takes video games that serious and not everyone is ready to intentionally make a game harder for themselves, as some people play video games to actually relax (After a job, for example).
I don't watch any streamers or E-sport tournaments, but do players there pick the best heroes/guns (depending on a game) they know or do the pick the worst ones just to brag how cool they are after they actually kill someone, even though they risked loosing a match?
Don't flatter yourself. You are not being a "better player", you are being a gamer-mazohist (not as something bad) that complains that not everyone is willing to play the way you do.

I think you're bypassing the entire point of this post, how do they find it fun to play like that? They're simply making the game as easy as possible which just gets boring. What's life without a challenge? Also, they are not relaxing. They are the "uber-hardcore" players that use any advantage they can get to win.

Maybe the real reason you see them as immature is because you have a lower K/D ratio than that person that was bragging.

Honestly, focus on your own game and ignore other players, you see spawn camping as a cheap tactic but if it works players will use it, you can look at that two ways as well, is the person spawn camping using a cheap tactic or using a very effective tactic against another player that doesn't know how to deal with spawn campers.

If they find that fun let them play like that, they also paid for the game so can play anyway they want unless it's cheating then that's different.

It depends on the game. Suggesting it's exclusive to whatever special platform is an unfounded bias that you probably reinforced somewhere. Might try stay of 4chan for a while mate and take similar ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sites less serious.

Also contrary to popular believe the most valuable player in a team game is the one that helps secure the objective for their team the most but since that is impossible to express in numbers people rather measure their ♥♥♥♥ size in kills/deaths.

Just killing alot of whatever, doesn't also mean you secure the object, in fact in alot of situations dying for the objective is necessary to win.

Different tastes. Do you find it fun to play using a mouse with your nondominant hand? No? You filthy casual! I bet some people do

Get's boring for you. Does not for the others.
What's life without a challenge?
Maybe it's challenging enough for them to just win a match. I'm just guessing at this point, but does it really matter to you what reasons they have?
Also, they are not relaxing.
How do you know that?
They are the "uber-hardcore" players that use any advantage they can get to win.
I don't see anything bad in it. Everyone has a right to enjoys a game the way they want (as long as it does not violate any actual rules). Their way of enjoying it is by winning using the best tactics and guns, your is by challenging yourself using crappy guns. You are no more right than they are.

Sorry bud, but that's not what I'm getting at at all, I can't figure out how that would be in the slightest bit fun to begin with. My second point is that I see it as horribly insane that you would try that hard to get a win, it's a bit asinine at that point. Also, no. I honestly don't care about my K/D on that game. Hell, I had a 10.0+ K/D on the PS3 version due to my jet skills. If I cared about K/D I'd just play the game there. Lastly, I'm not saying they can't play that way. I simply can't figure out why you'd want to.

Reasonably sure you're guessing the entire way.

They want to play like that because it's fun for them, the same way your play is fun for you.

I also think K/D ratio is very important to you, maybe not in that game but you mentioned it in your first post and I sense a real a dislike towards that other player because yours is lower, I think that's why you want to label them as using cheap tactics.

I'm speaking from experience, I'm not assuming. I have experienced this over years and years of gaming. I have no idea what you're saying in your 3rd sentence.
You're bypassing the point though, you're thinking I care about my K/D, my point is these people maximize their tactics in order to maximize their K/D. The particular individual who prompted this literally just went for the kills and never touched the objectives to my knowledge. I can't fathom how this is even slightly entertaining or worth it.

You also need to chill, you're speaking like a complete damned fool.

I enjoy having a betetr stat, yes. However, I don't care enough about my K/D in particular to be angry over the situation. I'm angry that this player thinks that the morals of playing cheap as possible to maximize profits is just a bit too much for a video game. If I cared about my K/D so much I could easily have a K/D multiple times the K/D of that particular individual as I stated before.

I'll just add to that, some players do not play for the objective, their focus is keeping the team alive so they can concentrate on the objective, if the person doing that is a good player it makes sense as they can keep team members alive much longer. Their K/D ratio will also improve but never think that is the only reason they're playing like that.

Wow... This is the equivalent of old school Trekkies arguing over who the superior Captain was... Amazing to watch!

Yes some players will but not all players are the same, that's my point. Some players are very team focused and even though they might look like they're only playing for kills, they just saved you so you were able to complete whatever the objective was.

You're speaking about all players who may fall into a catagory, I'm speaking of all of the players who are confirmed to be in that catagory. Also, to reinforce my comment about not caring about my K/D as compared to theirs, they never once killed me. They raised the argument because I had a killstreak on them.
