I saw a video on it before, and it looked like it would be a good game for people like yourself.
I mean these lovely games might scare you or not (Iunno) but I think it's the type of games that makes you wanna progress to the end. These are games that you eventually get used to play and the horror kinda becomes normal. You did play FNAF which is great practice because at first you get a bit scared but eventually you put more focus on checking things than to get scared which then makes all jumpscares normal.
Personally I love all horror games that has a chase sequence. Dang I love the chills when it feels like they're literally AN INCH BEHIND ME!!!
I gotta say it's tricky but I'd say just go with a horror game and have fun while being scared but also remember to put some focus on making progress so that all the scary stuff becomes normal.
^^^^ This could also be spooky depending on your perspective.
You can get 100% achievements in an hour (And all EIGHT endings)

2) SCP-087
As far as i know they were first and pretty short indie-horror games.
These games were popular 5 years ago. Try to download Hallways right now (~ 4 MB). It's fast.
I swear that SCP-087-B has like the loudest sounds ever.
It's the perfect soundscare game if you turn those speakers up.
