Found! Hack and Slash game early 2000 maybe late 90's? 360/hack and slash "Die by the Sword"

It was a 360 directional viking game where you would move the mouse and he would swing his blade, you would fight through dungeons or castles and there was a soccer style mini game where you would use the "trolls" with clubs to smash the viking guy to the goal. It was AWESOME! when you slashed at AI opponents their limbs would go flying! It was awhile back hopefully someone remembers this!

Rune? Only viking game I can think of that was made in the late 90's, early 00's.

No, it was neither of those. It was more Cartoon like and I would hope someone remembered the Soccer Mini game. Such a blast. Thanks though-

Lost Vikings is the only cartoony one from that time period I can think of but that can't be it.

360 as in wherever you moved the mouse the sword would follow, it was a 3rd person as well.

Solved: The game us was referring to is called "DIE BY THE SWORD" found it on GOG.com for $5.00 still just as fun! Thanks for everyone's input.

A little off-topic, but if I remember right "Severance: Blade of Darkness" had same kind of controls. And I also remember that few years back when I last played it, it was a real "insert-bad-word" to get working. Something to do with OpenGL if I remember right. The game itself was good. Although I have also a memory of some strange bug including loading game and invincibility on a boss fight...

Hmmm. Do time really make memories a bit better than they were?
