I've lost interest in movies overall, i wonder how many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spider-man, transformers, kong movies they need to milk.
And don't let me start about animation movies these days.

I'll probably just watch Pirates of the Carribian, thats all.

Dunkirk because Christopher Nolan is incredible. Pirates of the Caribbean, Alien Covenant, Star Wars Episode 8, Blade Runner, and whatever else catches my interest.

I don't go to the theatre anymore. With the price of a ticket here costing 12 bucks and a large popcorn costing 8 bucks and my kids won't share one they all want their own it would cost to much money to take my family to the movies. 12 dollars times 6 people is 72 dollars right there plus 6 popcorns at 8 dollars each is 48 dollars. Thats not including the drinks. So yea i don't go to the movies any more if my kids want to see a movie we wait till it's on netflix to see it.

Over here in Indiana it costs anywhere from $8-9 for an AMC ticket or other large cinemas, but local ones cost $5-7 at the expense of a smaller screen and generally less comfortable chairs. A large popcorn and large pop combo costs like $12, which is insane, but the most insane thing is the candy. You can get a bag of MnMs at the gas station for $2 but at the theater it's $6 for the same bag, and usually the whole cinema trip costs my dad about $45.

The filth, screaming at the screen, the possible gun fire, the eight dollar popcorn has convinced my family never to go to a theatre. Pay per view cable or streaming all the way.

On that note, looking forward to "Logan" (Marvel products wolverine movie ) and Rogue One was a disappointment.

Just found out that carmike cinemas was bought out by AMC. So the prices are different now and cheaper. Well for adults it is. 5.75 for adults and 8 dollars for children 2-12. Not sure why we have to pay more for kids then adults.
The last movie i and my wife went to was get rich or die trying which was 12 bucks maybe cause it was around 8 at night when i went.

Yeah, we always go to the matineés so it's cheaper. Matineés are any time after midnight but before noon in case you didn't know
