I personally am not a huge fan of rap, but I do love Nicki Minaj and I have a special appreciation for Eminem.
The only frustrating thing is when rap is regarded as being the "coolest" music and no one else wants to listen to much of anything else other than rap. Sure, I can take a little Kanye West and 50 Cent, but where's my Black Veil Brides and Lady Gaga? Of course, I know this isn't the fault of the music itself, but rather, its listeners.
Same can be said about country music. They all sing about the same thing. My dog left me. My wife left me and took my dog. My wife shot my dog and then stole my truck. My wife blew my truck up and shot my dog so i shot my wife. That is the same thing in all country songs.
An example of positive rap its not all bad the stuff i used to listen to was bad though like gangsta rap from Surenos and Gangsta Disciple rap i listened to real gangsta rap.
Not so positive Blood gangsta rap but there is a message in it its how you look at it
Again not so positive music i used to love
Reminds me of so many bad times in my life lol i am like a rap encyclopedia. Now im into everything but rap. I prefer House electronica 80s 70s music now
And I also still like 2pac. He was a real poet in my opinion.
Still like some of the stuff, but mostly moved on from on it.
RAVE MUSIC RULES and some classical.
I listen to a lot of older Drum and Bass / Amen style Jungle. 97-01ish.. I was a vinyl dj at a few raves back then lol. Great times! PLUR! (do they still say that these days? )
I liked the Rave music not the actual Rave scene lol.
