A realistic WW2 game concept
Here's my idea and concepts:

-Players have vast hitboxes, for example for the arms, legs, stomach, chest, neck and head. If a player is hit for example in the arm, his reloading and aiming will decrease. If a player is hit in the leg, he will not be able to walk properly and will limp. Most parts of the body (head, neck, chest and stomach) will be one hit kill. I don't know if this is too complicated, but the chest will have two different areas where to hit: it will either hit the heart, or just go through. A player can survive one shot from a pistol or rifle if not hit in the heart but will start bleeding. I'm thinking two or more shots will kill him. One hit to the heart and you're instantaneously dead. Every else part is a one-hit kill. Melee weapons will also be mostly one hit kills, (neck, skull, stomach a couple of times and chest a couple of times) but you can also disable the enemy's legs or arms

-Weapons are realistic. (This is a minor detail, though) the first time you pull out any weapon, it will do a loading animation: Bolt action rifles will pull the bolt back and in position, the M1 Carbine will also pull the hammer (bolt? I don't know guns, sorry. Correct me if you want to) back and slap it in position, SMG's and machine-guns will have the cocking handle and pistols the receiver too. Rifles can be reloaded mid-clip, the player will place a bullet directly inside; same for shotguns. SMG's, Mamhine-gun's and pistols cannot be reloaded mid-magazine

-All rifles, SMG's, shotguns and machine-guns will have a belt attached to them, so when you pull out another weapon it will look like you put it on your shoulder. Different weapons will make you slower. Rifles and SMG's aren't too heavy, machine-guns will make you a bit slower, and bazookas will be very heavy. (Some models will be needed to be carried with two arms, and if you pull out anything else, you will drop it on the ground) Pistols have it's own pocket and knives will be on a belt too.

-Now, some gameplay mechanics: you will not have your weapon ready when you start the match. You can ready your weapon by pressing right-click. This will put you in ironsights immediately. If you start running (press shift and any move button, WASD) it will un-ready your weapon. With machine-guns you will go to the ground and place the it on a pibod. You can leave it there or take it back with you again.

-While running, there will be different obstacles. Pressing space at the right time will prevent you from falling and disabling your leg for a couple of minutes. (You will not limp, but walk slower for sure) You can also trip by running sideways (A and D) and running backwards (S). While running you can press Ctrl to dive into cover. Pressing Ctrl while walking or standing still will crouch you. Pressing Ctrl again will make you go prone and pressing Ctrl a third time will make you stand up. If you want to exit these faster you can press Shift and any move button.

-You can shove someone. While holding any weapon besides the bazooka, and pressing space next to a player will shove them to the ground. This is very useful when done from high spots

That's all for now. Thanks for reading this, make me know of any ideas you have :)

And for anyone that thinks that dying from one hit is stupid, I think it makes confrontation much more exciting. That's why you should stick with your squad, so you can survive better.

How about the ability to move your head around like in arma 3

And maybe artilery long stand offs in trenches like in realy world war 2 something like that would be cool and tank battles with normal troops running about

How about having all weapons at the start but you suck with them and only know how to use the normal ones effectively.

i hope you are making this or someone is

Getting shot in the leg is fatal, getting shot in the arm is also fatal and you'd sit straight on the floor and shout for a medic if you took a hit, don't risk it.
If you're going for realistic injury then you might want to put in a shock meter too, soldiers would die from shock much more than the actual wounds in the world wars.

This would be implimented into most games but unfortunately, it's not fun and most bullets wouldn't go where you aimed.

So a bit like a weight mechanic? can't carry too much ammo or weapons or it'll affect your stamina and speed? Sounds good, they need that in most games these days.

Just sounds normal to me.

Don't need to press things, just make it so that your characters animations are affected by his total health and weight, diving into cover would hurt people so..

Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions but how is getting shot in the arm or leg fatal?

The femoral artery is by your leg and your arm can bleed out normally

Okay but I mean like the player is shot once in the arm, that doesn't kill him instantaneously, does it?

Not instantly, but infection and bloodloss will make you disabled.

I dont get it how anyone want a "realistic" war experience. Arma 2 and Arma 3 are good at it is, if you want more realism one should join the army maybe...
but kids can't do that i wish they could and had to
